Overheard by me

Last night, while dining out, in one of those restaurants that places all the tables really close to each other, so in essence everyone is eating together. (At least I was not on a date, as my neighbors were)

I could not help but overhear the couple next to me chatting. They were apparently recalling the story of how they met and came to be on this date. Which I surmised was #1.

Anyway, only in our religion and our great state could this story actually happen.

The girl was in a car on the way down to Baltimore. It may have been her brother driving, or another guy, not quite sure about that.

The date, was hitchhiking down to Baltimore. Her car gave him a ride.. they got to chatting and the rest they say is history.

It is a very cute story.

And it seemed like a great first date. I wish them all the luck and best in the world. And should they ever make OS you betcha I am going to sign:-)

Next week.. I will explain the new volleyball strategy, we learned an actual play. So far we played twice, and won 2/3 each time. With #3 games going to 17. So not too shabby…

The Long and Short of it

So The wedding was amazing and beautiful.
Some minor activities to note (I lost the ketubah briefly, and oh yeah, I fainted at the ceremony, and then the limo never showed at the end) but all in all an amazing party.

After the wedding, there are 7 days of parties. In between which I had, 1 birthday party, and 2 engagement parties. I am sure there were more things, I remember not sleeping a lot... so please tell if I forgot anything.

Not to mention that I lost my job and lost the volleyball championship and began dating...

So its been crazy.

My days have been spent looking for a job and trying not to mess up a new relationship.

I have been on a few interviews. No offers and nothing terribly exciting. At this point I just want a job and normal life..

I hope to start that by blogging again.

10 + Day Recap

Its unbelievable how fast life can be sometimes.

I will now attempt to blog about everything since my leave of absence.

Wed Dec 27^th:

After work I went to get my nails done. I went to my moms place because I had to get a French (light pink with a white line on top, no idea why they call it this) manicure. And frankly, my place is not skilled enough, and why shouldn’t I let my mom pay?

So after this type of polish it renders one pretty much unusable, since it is way prone to chippage.

So I did it (P.S- My moms place is not as friendly as I think mine is) and when I got home, I pretty much did nothing. Which was ok because I had to wake up bright and early to get ready for….

THE WEDDING!!!!

Thursday Dec 28^th:

Yes, the day has finally come…

This will be a short one until I can get into details at a later date.

I woke up at 8, because I had to be at the hair place at 9 to get my hair done. It took 2.5 hours!!! But I like how it came out… here are some before, during and after pics:

G-ma didnt get her hair done... I mean she did, but nothing I took a pic of. Sorry.

Anyway, after we had to go home, and get everything together for the cars and then head over to the hall.

We were having our makeup done there...
